I recently earned my PhD in Computer Sciencee from the Universitat de Barcelona, with a dissertation titled Deep Learning Solutions for the Semantic Segmentation of Airborne LiDAR Data .
My research focuses on bridging the gap between AI innovation and operational geospatial workflows, building on a multidisciplinary background that also includes telecommunications and medicine. Alongside my research, I teach AI-related courses at the university and in specialized programs, and I am deeply passionate about increasing the visibility of women in technology.
As part of my commitment to open research, I co-authored TerLiDAR, a publicly available dataset of airborne LiDAR point clouds captured by the ICGC (Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya). You can access the dataset here. This resource supports the findings in our related publication, "Efficient Task and Domain Adaptation in ALS Semantic Segmentation via LoRA for PointNet++".
